Meet Matt Fechter
|
Matt is passionate about helping clients build and achieve their financial goals. He finds great
satisfaction in empowering others to take charge of their financial future through knowledge,
expertise, and clarity—values that led him to pursue a career as a financial advisor.
He joined Redwood Financial Strategies in December 2021, drawn to founder Michael Reisel’s
personal financial concierge approach and the firm’s mission to help clients “Continue Building a
Meaningful Life.”
Before joining Redwood, Matt was part of a growing Alternative Investments team at U.S. Bank and
served as Office Manager and Controller for a local start-up business, PIRTEK Menomonee Falls,
for six years. Earlier in his career, he worked in IT support, where he developed strong
problem-solving and communication skills and discovered how rewarding it is to help others. His
combination of financial and technical expertise allows him to create personalized financial
strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
Matt holds his Series 65 securities license and graduated summa cum laude from Lakeland
University with a major in Accounting. He and his wife, Kate, have been married since 2013 and live
in Jackson, WI, with their two goldendoodles, Sully and Ted.
