Meet Matt Fechter

Matt is passionate about helping clients build and achieve their financial goals. The satisfaction that comes from empowering others to take charge of their financial future by providing knowledge, expertise and clarity is why Matt chose to become an advisor.
Matt joined Redwood Financial Strategies in December 2021. He was immediately drawn to the firm because he loved founder Michael Reisel’s personal financial concierge approach that focuses on helping clients "Continue Building a Meaningful Life.”
Prior to joining the firm, Matt was part of a growing Alternative Investments team at U.S. Bank as well as serving as the Office Manager and Controller of a local start-up business, PIRTEK Menomonee Falls, for six years. Having a knack for communication and technology, Matt spent the early part of his career working in IT Support where he expertly honed his problem-solving skills and discovered how truly rewarding it feels to help others. His unique background of financial and technical expertise helps Matt formulate personalized financial strategies for each client.
Matt holds a Series 65 securities license and is proud to have graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lakeland University with a major in Accounting. Outside of work, Matt has been blessed to be married to his wife, Kate, since June 2013. The couple resides in Jackson, Wisconsin along with their two goldendoodles, Sully and Ted.
