Meet Michael J. Reisel
|
Adaptive by nature, Mike founded Redwood Financial Strategies to evolve the traditional financial
advising experience. He wanted to create something different—an environment where clients feel
educated, confident, and cared for in ways they may never have before.
Mike’s inspiration came from seeing how financial instability impacts people’s well-being.
Recognizing that financial literacy is rarely taught, he made it his mission to bring clarity through
education, guidance, and trust. His background in teaching and management allows him to
simplify complex financial concepts and help clients feel confident in their decisions.
He thrives on seeing the transformation in his clients once financial stress no longer keeps them
up at night. Helping people regain peace of mind and purpose is what drives him—because to Mike,
the more individuals who reach that point, the stronger the community becomes.
With more than a decade of business experience across multiple financial disciplines, Mike takes
pride in problem-solving and delivering results that improve both financial and personal outcomes.
He believes doing what’s right for the client always comes first—money comes and goes, but
integrity lasts. That philosophy fuels his commitment to continual improvement and lasting
relationships.
Redwood’s limited membership model allows Mike to serve as each member’s personal financial
concierge—reviewing, advising, and acting without ever pushing products. His goal is simple: to
help clients achieve their financial objectives while cultivating happiness and gratitude along the
way.
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, is
Advanced Silver Sandler Certified, and holds his Series 6, 63, 65, 7, and 24 securities licenses.
Outside the office, Mike enjoys life with his wife, Mindy, their two children, Hayden and Cole, and
their dogs, Molly and Cooper. Together, they love the outdoors—hiking, hunting, spending time on
the water, and traveling to experience as much of the world as possible.
